I can see a trade up happening but I can also see the QB needy teams in the top ~12 staying put if they think they can snag one of the top 4 guys that aren't Lawrence. I don't have much knowledge about them all but it seems like the general consensus is that Lawrence is the only real standout prospect.

I do not see the Falcons trading out. The only way I can imagine that happening is if Lawrence, Wilson, and Fields go in the Top 3 and they do not care for Lance. Miami seems like the likely trade partner at this point. Bengals make sense if they want Sewell. Lions and Panthers make sense for QB. Eagles for QB also makes sense, but they would have to trade both Wentz and Hurts for that to happen imo. Will be fun to watch unfold regardless.

Lawrence threw yesterday. Wowed everyone there. Only forty throws, but finished with seventy yard bomb in perfect stride while on the rollout. Crazy.

He also had surgery on his non-throwing shoulder with a 5-6 month rehab. Not terribly concerning but something to note.

It's on his non throwing arm, so it's nothing. He's going to be the #1 Pick no matter what. The Jags are set for the next fifteen years. Good going, Jets.

Non throwing arm, sure, but I wouldn't call relatively major surgery nothing no matter what it was on. I agree his draft stock isn't going to suffer and he probably won't have any long term effects.

It's just microscopic surgery. He'll be fine.

Kamren Curl was a 7th round draft pick last year for Washington. The NFL recently did another draft based on how the rookies played during the season and in this draft Curl went 27th in the first round to Seattle.

Looks like Marcus Marietta could be the starting quarterback for Washington. I?m still hoping Washington do a deal with the Jets and get Justin Fields. Unlikely I know but anything can happen.

I?d laugh if Justin Lawrence turns out to be another Ryan Leaf. Leaf was once as highly rated as Peyton Manning and they were in the same draft.

From what I'm hearing around the league, Lawrence is at the top. There's a dip in talent from there, but Wilson is regarded as the clear #2. There is said to be another gap between him and the likes of Lance, Fields and Jones. Some have Lance #3, while others have Fields (some even have Fields as #2). Pro Days will be key.

I hear that Justin Fields is not NFL ready and will need to sit behind a quarterback for a year. There's talk of Atlanta being interested in him.

Meh. Every QB who's not the #1 we always hear that he'll need to sit for a year and then by week 5 he's starting.

I like Fields to Atlanta. He's from Georgia, originally went to school there.

Everyone is picking apart Fields because of his poor play this last year. They should remember that these college teams didn't having training camp. Ohio State also had no run game until the end of the year when Sermon came on strong, making them one dimensional. Just watch his tape against Clemson and that tells you how good he is.

What worries me about Justin Fields is he comes from Ohio which just so happens to be the same team Hakskins played for in college and we all saw how badly prepared for the NFL he was. From what I have seen of Justin Fields he is going to be a Lamar Jackson type player.

Fields and Haskins are two extremely different prospects. Haskins was a one year wonder. Fields was a five star recruit out of high school, second to only Lawrence. At the moment, he is being compared to Dak (at the worst) and Deshaun Watson (where his potential could take him).

I think Fields will be the 3rd QB taken anyway, so it would make sense for Atlanta to draft him. Given the quality within the Atlanta team, it's unlikely that they're going to have another top 5 pick any time soon. They need to plan for the future now while they can, so that they don't have to trade up next year.

Dak being his floor is pretty high praise. I know Dak's had some stacked offenses but he's shown flashes of being a top 5 QB.

That's why I'd go with Fields over Wilson. Just watch the Clemson Game and tell me he isn't better than Wilson. I get Fields tends to lock in on his primary receiver, but the dude literally only had one good WR this past year and no running game until the end of the season. If the Falcons get him at #4, that's a steal. Let him backup Matt Ryan for a year, and then let him take over. Perfect scenario. And honestly, if I was Fields, I would want to drop to the Falcons. Brady will be retired in a few years. Saints won't be having Brees. And the Panthers might be what they are currently if they can't get Watson.

Lots of reports emerging that there are off field issues with Zak Wilson, I wonder if they will put off interest in him like it did Dan Marino way back in 1983.

I wonder if Miami would be interested in Mike Pitts if he is still on the board when they select. Not only is he as good as any wide receiver in the draft but he can also block and protect Tua from his tight end position. I still think the Dolphins will select Devonta Smith to build up Tua's confidence because he was his go to receiver in college but I believe Mike Pitts would be the better choice.

I didn't realise Devonta Smith only weighs 160 pounds, not sure that frame will survive the rigors of modern day NFL where strong safties and linebackers weigh anything from 200-240 pounds.

Just done mine Warrior13, it would have helped if we had some idea as to where Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson will be playing when the season starts. I'm going with the assumption the Panthers will trade for DeShaun Watson and Russell Wilson will remain with Seattle.

I think the N.Y. Jets will trade out of the second position and go with Darnold, giving him two top offensive lineman to protect him. My thinking is if Darnold who is in the final year of his rookie contract is not their franchise player the offensive line is in good shape for his replacement next year. The Jets need too many players to in key positions to think about another unproven quarterback at this point, it would just be a sideways step from Darnold in my opinion.

I personally think Kyle Pitts is a better pick for the Dolphins but because of the Alabama connection the Dolphins will more likely go with Devonta Smith. Kyle Pitts is projected to be as good as Kellen Winslow and Shannon Sharpe two hall of famers so I would have taken him instead of the undersized Devonta Smith.

1) Jacksonville - Trevor Lawrence

2) San Francico (N.Y. Jets) - Zach Wilson

3) Miami - Devonta Smith

4) Atlanta - Justin Fields

5) Cincinnati - Penei Sewell

6) Philadelphia - Kyle Pitts

7) Detroit - Jamarr Chase

8) Houston (Carolina - Deshuan Watson trade) - Trey Lance

9) Denver - Mica Parsons

10) Dallas - Patrick Surtain II

11) N.Y. Giants - Jaylen Waddle

12) N.Y. Jets - Rashawn Slater

13) Los Angeles Chargers - Alijah Vera-Tucker

14) Minnesota - Jaelen Phillips

15) New England Patriots - Mac Jones

16) Arizona - Caleb Farley

17) L.V. Raiders - Kwity Paye

18) Miami - Travis Etienne

19) Washington - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

20) Chicago - Kadarius Toney

21) Indianapolis - Jaycee Horn

22) Tennessee - Zaven Collins

23) N.Y. Jets - Najee Harris

24) Pittsburgh - Christian Darrisaw

25) Jacksonville - Christian Barmore

26) Cleveland - Carlos Basham

27) Baltimore - Alex Leatherwood

28) New Orleans - Joseph Ossai

29) Green Bay - Terrace Marshall Jr.

30) Buffalo - Wyatt Davis

31) Kansas City - Rodarius Williams

32) Tampa Bay - Azeez Ojulari
