Apparently we're getting a quality special teams player from Cincy. Nothing confirmed yet, just a rumour.

That is confirmed. We signed him yesterday. That's the Safety I mentioned.

It will basically all be done by the end of this week. Maybe a few late signings, but not any of the superstars. After Brady lands with a team, the rest of the QBs will quickly be signed. Clowney is the last big name besides Brady.

What's your take on our recruiting? Are they good players? Did we pay too much for them, or is it ok because of our huge cap space?

Don't really like Flowers. But he was okay at Guard last year, so hopefully he can be the same (or Better) for us. 10 million a year was a bit much for Flowers, especially when Conklin was only paid a little more than that.

The Safety is more of a special teamer, so he's not all that important.

Jones was expensive, but hopefully he and Howard form a great duo.

Lawson is good, but like Flowers, 10 million is a little much for a guy who has never even got ten sacks in one year. He's young, so hopefully that can change.

Van Noy? To me he is the 2nd best signing, based on being safer and cheaper than the others.

I'm hoping Flores is using his connections and bringing in players that are good people as well as having good talent. Club culture means everything when a rebuild is ongoing. And a positive environment is maybe what some underachieving players need to thrive.

A little expensive, but he can play multiple positions.

We also signed another DL today, one formerly with the Chiefs. As well as RB Howard, formly with the Bears and Eagles. Cheaper too for each. Nice.

Could we possibly get Brady? A number of DolFans want it. Could have Brady/Tua or even Brady/Rosen to keep #5. If we get Brady (doubt it), we could use #5 on LT (three of the four should be available, but all four could be if the Giants trade out), #18 on WR (that position is starting to slip in the draft because of the Hopkins trade), and then #26 on Swift. Could then use both 2nd Rounders on two more OL, and then our two 3rds on a Safety and another TE. Instant AFC EAST WINNERS.

Jordan Howard?!?! What are Philly thinking? Surely there must be off-field or health concerns, otherwise he's a quality player. If there aren't those type of concerns, we've just got a franchise RB.

And Brady is off to Tampa Bay, Bridgewater to Carolina, and Rivers to Indy.

Tampa MUST improve their O-Line. Free Agency is drying up. If they're gonna do it in the draft, they'll have to trade up.

Tampa Bay will now probably try and bag Swift if there are no decent offensive linemen left in the first round. Buccaneers management have probably promised Brady offensive weapons and the team desperately needs a good quality running back.

True. Now that we know 100% that Arizona will select an o-lineman, that's another of the 'big 4' prospects off the board.

On the other hand, Trent Williams hasn't been picked up by anyone yet...

EDIT - Was replying to Warrior. Dennis you posted 1 minute before I did. If Tampa Bay want a quality RB they will need to trade up a 2nd round pick to move into the late 1st round.

If the Bucs can get Trent Williams, everything could fall into place for them. Their O-Line isn't terrible, but it's definitely the one area on offensive that could be upgraded. Imagine if they an get Trent Williams for a 3rd Round Pick. They could then try to trade back in the 1st Round because the Top 4 OL will be off the board by #14. Minnesota now owns the #22 & #25 Picks after trading Diggs to the Bills, so maybe the Buccaneers could give up #14 & #45 for #22 & #25. The Vikings could jump up and draft Lamb/Jeudy/Ruggs to effectively replace Diggs, and it would allow the Bucs to draft OT Austin Jackson (fifth best OL, could play RT while Williams plays LT) as well as RB Swift/Taylor.

The Bucs would be lethal if they could pull all of this off.

Did my preliminary picks for my penultimate mock draft. Major changes. Not 100% set just yet on all of them since we still need to know where a few free agents go, primarily Clowney. But most of it is set.

It's fine. Melvin Gordon going to the Broncos. Ha-Ha going to the the Cowboys. Ebron going to Steelers. Chris Harris to the Chargers.

Literally the last big Free Agent is Clowney. From there, all we need to know is the destination of Newton, Dalton and Winston. However, odds are Cam is the only one that will be a starter among the three, so it doesn't matter all that much.

I've got 26/32 picks for my next mock draft complete. Really just waiting for Clowney to sign to finish it off. After he's signed, Free Agency is pretty much over (outside of the couple of QBs available).

I just finished my March Mock Draft. Won't post it yet since Clowney hasn't signed, but his landing spot won't really change all that much unless he goes to one or two of the possible teams.

Dalton I think will end up as the starter in New England.
Winston will be brought in to challenge Haskins in Washington.
Newton, I have no idea. I can only see him being a backup somewhere in the league now. Which team I have no idea, there's currently no market for him.

I hear talk that the Dolphins may take an offensive guard with pick 5 (Jedrick Wills) as that position is at a premimum at the moment and then do a trade with the Jaguars to move up to pick 9 and take Tua. Not sure personally that will work, I see the Raiders jumping in if the Dolphins don't take Tua with Pick 5. I'm beginning to wonder if Tua is as good as everyone says. You look at the talent he had around him in college they are nearly all first or second round picks. The recievers were Jerry Juedy and Henry Ruggs III and he was protected by a great offensive line that included Jedrick Wills. He wouldn't have none of that at Miami unless the Dolphins do the what I say to provide Tua protection on his blind side.
