I wonder if a team with roll the dice with him if the price is low enough. Like if the Broncos could get him for one 1st or less, would they run the risk? They have the cap room, and it's not like they will ever get a guy of his talent anytime school since their team is good enough to always be in the middle of the pack. I would have to think Elway would pull the trigger if it means losing a mid 1st Rounder. Groudon as well. Both are going to be in the hot seat soon enough if they don't do something, and neither team has much to lose.

Maybe. Do you think any team would give up a first when there's a shot he doesn't play this year? Especially the Raiders who would probably have to give up Carr for salary, if Watson doesn't play now you're out of a QB and you don't have your first rounder in a lost season. If you get a third team involved to take Carr it gets much more complicated.

More reports, you mean more women have come forward with complaints? It's going to get to the point where the Texans won't be able to give Watson away his reputation will be so badly damaged, he will be a pariah around the league.

You have to wonder how much truth there are in these allegations and how much of it is a smear campaign orchestrated because the guy wanted to move to another team. There is something definately not right with the whole thing. Watson had obviously been doing what he was doing for a long period of time yet it was continually covered up until he decided he wanted to leave and then all of a sudden everything comes to light. The way the girls are going about things makes the whole scenario look even more suspicious. They don't go to the police but have no problen logging civil cases in the hope of getting monetary compensation. It's beginning to look like some elaborate sting. All it takes is for one of those girls to be caught not telling the truth and the whole case will lose all credibility and get thrown out of court.

Dennis: New reports as in some of the woman, ten to be exact, have made formal complaints about Watson to police (the same who are still investigating him).

Mike: What about the team like New Orleans? Would losing one 1st hurt them all that bad? I think the Rams have shown you can win without having 1st Rounders.

It's game over for Watson now if the police are involved. A case as big as this one which is being closely followed by the American public will have to be resolved to their satisfaction, this means jail time for either wasting police time or an abuse conviction.

I see now why the Texans are suddenly desperate to get rid of Watson. They'd probably entertain a 1 first and a couple of late round picks. Things are about to get messy and they want to wash their hands of him.

Now the police are involved Watson can't pay off the girls, the police now will be doing their own investigations. Looks like Watson should have cut his losses and paid the girls off while he had the chance.

Not sure New Orleans would want to give up their first when they are probably headed for a bad season.

I really don't think any team is going to make a move for him at all at this point.

I think you are right steelersrock01, I can't see it either. Draft picks are a valuable asset in the NFL and giving up several number 1's on a player who may not be able to play for you is reckless and could set your franchise years. The most likely scenario is the Texans end up with an elite quarterback in jail.

Depending on the team, I would give up a 1st for him. One 1st Rounder, especially if you are in the middle of the round, is not that big of a loss if he never plays again.

I guess so, teams like Miami and Philadelphia who have multiple first round picks it won't matter too much if they lost one gambling on Watson.

Still no official offers for Watson. I'm hearing Washington are tempted to offer 3 number ones and Daron Payne but I hope that doesn't happen. I don't want that slime ball playing for Washington regardless of how good he is. I think Philadelphia are currently favourites to pick him up followed by Miami who are also still interested.

If I was Washington, I would give up a 1st. Nothing more. Not worth it. If he plays this year, Washington will be an instant Super Bowl contender.

It wouldn't be that easy Warrior13, he'd have to learn a whole new playbook and have no experience training with the rest of the squad.

I just get the feeling Fitzpatrick is going to put it all together and have a 4,000 yard 35 Touchdown season. Probably be a fair share of interceptions but I think he will look good generally. If not not Tyler Hienicke will come in and that guy will do anything to try and win. May not be well known name but at least I know he goes 100% each play.

Playbook won't matter. The Redskins really only need ten wins to capture the division, and Watson will easily do that.

I think they can do that with Fitzpatrick if he gets off to a winning start. The problem is he only seems to play well when there is no pressure on him and when he comes of the bench to salvage a lost game. I just hope he's not another Kirk Cousins.

If any tea in the NFC East wins 10 games, I think they will win the division. It's going to be tough for each of them though since they play the NFC South this year. 9-8 could do the trick.

I've just spent two hours watching Washington Football Team defense videos on YouTube and I can't wait for the new season to start. Young and Sweat are ridiculous together, if one doesn't pressure you the other will.
I'll take 10-7, Washington has a tough schedule. It's a shame that the weak link of the team is the quarterback, which just so happens to be the most important position. If defenses could play each other Washington would have a shot of being NFL champions.

First to ten wins the division imo. Nine plus tie breakers might do the trick. I have the Cowboys right now, but if Fitz keeps the turnovers to a minimum, I would switch to Redskins.

Washington will beat Dallas twice, Prescott will have a bad day at the office both times the teams meet.

I'm sure everyone rates Prescott because he gets paid a lot. Before he was injured he was a mediocre player who faded in the second half. Earning a few more dollars is not going to improve him. I think Fitzpatrick will have better numbers.

There is no shot a healthy Dak has worse numbers than Fitzpatrick. Dak has always been a top 10 QB and Fitzgerald has always been a fringe starter.

Yeah, but if Fitz is Top 15-20, they could easily win that division with the defense studs they have.

I'm expecting Washington to win the NFC East, Dallas defense is poor, they have a running back that is overrated and overpaid and their quarterback is not as good as everyone thinks even though he looks the part. I'm expecting more resistance from the Giants who have a decent defense. Philadelphia are doing nothing this year except getting themselves a high first you round draft pick next year.
